We at Southern Shores Eye Center, PA are committed to a clean, safe environment. In an effort to maintain this, we are adopting CDC recommendations and sanitizing policies.
- First and foremost - We ask that if you are showing any signs of illness, or have come in contact with someone who is known to have been exposed to the virus that you PLEASE RESCHEDULE your appointment.**IF YOU ARE A POST OP PATIENT PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO DISCUSS**
- In an effort to encourage recommended "social distancing" we ask that you come to your appointment alone unless you are accompanying a child to their appointment or you need the assistance of a caretaker. Please do not bring anyone who is not being examined with you.
- If you are in a "high risk" group - have respiratory disease, are immunocompromised or over 65 years old - we recommend that you RESCHEDULE your appointment
- We have and will continue to sanitize equipment and surfaces within the office before and after each patient encounter. We currently do not have surgical masks due to the high demand, therefore can not supply them to you.
- Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office - we ask that you please use it upon entering the office.
- For all our protection large breath shields have been installed on biomicroscopes. COVID-19 has been found to be present in tears and can cause conjunctivitis.
Remember routine eyeare is just that "routione". You may want to postpone your visit for a later date once this has past.
