Jane Pan, M.D.
Dr. Jane Pan is a fellowship-trained retina surgeon with extensive experience treating macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, as well as specializing in the surgical treatment of macular puckers, holes, tears, and retinal detachments. In addition, Dr. Pan performs advanced sutureless cataract surgery, offering patients the option for Advanced Premium Multifocal/Presbyopic and Toric IOLs to reduce the need for glasses after cataract surgery. Dr. Pan also performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGs) for improved eye pressure control for glaucoma.
Dr. Pan is a native of the tristate area. Dr. Pan has been taking care of patients in South Jersey since 2011 and was serving the NYC community in Manhattan for 3 years prior to relocating to New Jersey. She completed her medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC and went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Upstate Medical University at Syracuse. She then completed a surgical fellowship at the Vitreoretinal Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee, specializing in medical and surgical retina. She is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. She is affiliated with RWJ Barnabas Community Medical Center in Toms River and AtlantiCare Surgery Center in Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
